Venice is proving to be increasingly popular as a yacht destination
with many clients returning to their favourite berths year
after year. However, Venice is deceptively small and space
comes at a real premium. Venice Yacht Pier is already actively looking to
develop new berthing areas as well as where possible improving the general
quality of existing berths.
In the historic centre of Venice there are are no large marinas.
Berths are therefore distributed between several different
zones as shown on our
interactive
map. Currently most of the alongside berthing is to be
found in the south-east of the city just a short walk away
from St. Mark's square.
As you will see in the
Port
Procedures and Regulations section of this site, if you plan on coming to
Venice with a vessel of 24m or greater we highly recommend the use of an
agency in
order to assist with all arrival formalities.
